AI is a newly introduced technology in the construction industry. It can provide real time monitoring of the site, count the number of workers, and identify any mis-use of personal protective equipment (e.g. safety helmet or vest). When a dangerous act is predicted, the system will alert the safety officer and inspector to avoid injuries. We plan to implement AI technology to enhance site safety.
