The construction industry has been an instrumental driver of economic growth and enabler of social development, which played a key role in positioning Hong Kong as one of the most recognizable, dynamic and admired cities in the world. The Government launched “Construction 2.0” in 2018 to enhance the industry’s sustainability and long term growth prospects, whilst maintaining and strengthening Hong Kong’s established regional leadership position in construction. Drainage Services Department plays a key role in the construction sector and supports the innovation and technology development of the industry.
This project is one of Drainage Services Department’s projects demonstrating and implementing “Construction 2.0”. It involves innovative procurement, innovative design, application of innovative technologies, and innovative facilities management.
